Warehouse Assistant
Location: Shefford
Salary: £12.71phr
Job Type: Full Time temp – perm
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:30 PM]
About Us:
Our client is a busy equipment hire company, committed to delivering excellent service to our customers. We are currently seeking a reliable and motivated Warehouse Assistant to join our dynamic team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with the loading and unloading of deliveries
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and paperwork to support warehouse operations including picking, stock control, and general housekeeping
- Follow all health and safety procedures
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a driving or warehouse role is an advantage
- Good physical fitness – some heavy lifting required
- Excellent timekeeping and reliability
- Strong team player with good communication skills
- Basic understanding of warehouse systems and procedures (training provided if necessary)
Job Types: Full-time, Temp to perm
Contract length: 8 weeks
