Installation Operative
Location: Wyboston
Salary: £26,000–£28,000 per year (DOE)
Hours: Full-time, Permanent
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an Installation Operative to join a growing team within a market-leading supplier of non-mechanical plant and equipment for the construction, civil engineering, and utilities sectors.
This is a hands-on role that combines yard-based work with nationwide installation projects, offering variety, development, and the chance to be part of a company investing in its installation division.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install fencing, barriers, and track matting products on construction and civil sites across the UK
- Liaise with internal teams and clients to ensure smooth installation delivery
- Pick, pack, and quality-check equipment and materials
- Clean and inspect products in the external yard (including wet work)
- Undertake manual handling and general yard duties
- Adhere to health & safety requirements at all times
- Work flexible hours, including overnight stays when required
Requirements:
- CSCS Card, Trailer Licence, Forklift or Compact Loader Certification & Telehandler Licence
- Physically fit with a strong work ethic and positive, can-do attitude
- Keen to learn and develop practical construction skills
- Comfortable with travel and varied working hours
- Ideally based near Bedford or St Neots
