Field Technician
Covering Bury St Edmunds / Ipswich area.
Temp to perm
£13.22 per hour (equivalent of £27,500 on a 40 hour week)
Flexible shifts working between 7am – 6pm
Monday to Friday
Manual UK Driving Licence is essential
What you’ll be doing:
– Oversee daily operations at domestic waste import sites
– Conduct site and equipment checks, troubleshoot issues, and maintain high housekeeping standards
– Promote and uphold health, safety, environmental, and quality standards
– Sample and assess waste for compliance and report any irregularities
– Provide professional, friendly support to customers and site teams
What does it take to be successful?
– Full UK driving licence (essential)
– Be based around Bury St Edmunds / Ipswich area
– Flexible approach to working hours to cover core business hours
– Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
– Experience working outdoors and in operational environments
The successful candidate will need good customer service skills to communication with effectively with Drivers and other people around sites.
