Location: Bedford (office-based, 5 days a week)
Salary: £26,500–£28,000 per annum, depending on experience
Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week
Contract: Permanent
About the Role
We’re looking for a friendly, customer-focused Customer Care Advisors to join a growing team in Bedford.
You’ll be the first point of contact for customers, helping with product enquiries, orders, deliveries, returns and after-sales support. You’ll play an important role in delivering excellent customer service and ensuring every customer receives a positive experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to customer enquiries by phone, email, live chat and social media.
- Make outbound calls to follow up on orders, gather feedback and contact potential customers.
- Help customers choose suitable products and accessories.
- Manage orders, deliveries, returns, exchanges and refunds.
- Provide product advice, including set-up, care and maintenance.
- Handle warranty claims, faults, repairs and spare parts.
- Record customer feedback and report recurring product issues.
- Support retail partners with product and order enquiries.
- Maintain accurate customer records and help keep FAQs and support information up to date.
About You
Essential requirements:
- Previous customer service or customer care experience.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Confident using the phone for inbound and outbound calls.
- A patient, friendly and solution-focused approach.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Good IT skills and the ability to learn new systems.
- Available to work full-time from the Bedford office.
- Right to work in the UK.
Desirable experience:
- Experience with customer service platforms such as Gorgias.
- E-commerce or online retail experience.
- Confidence explaining product features and practical use.
- An interest in sales and career development.
