Customer Services Administrator

Huntingdon | Temp Ongoing | Monday to Friday, 37.5hrs per week | £13 per hour

Are you an organised, detail-focused administrator who thrives in a fast-paced environment? We’re looking for a proactive and reliable individual to join a busy operations team in Huntingdon, supporting the smooth running of essential customer services.

You’ll play a key part in ensuring efficient day-to-day operations, providing administrative and organisational support to the Key Customer Coordinator and the wider Water Delivery team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, accuracy, and problem-solving in a collaborative setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately input, update, and maintain data across internal systems
  • Review, reconcile and verify daily electronic records (including driver and vehicle bookings)
  • Prepare data for invoicing and ensure records are compliant and auditable
  • Maintain both electronic and paper-based documentation such as driver paperwork and water sample results
  • Raise purchase orders and assist with scheduling, filing and general admin tasks
  • Resolve queries from stakeholders and hauliers promptly and professionally
  • Ensure confidentiality and compliance with data protection regulations
  • Support the wider team to deliver excellent customer service and meet operational deadlines

Requirements:

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping
  • Confident communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Competence with Microsoft Office and internal database systems
  • A proactive, adaptable approach and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Previous experience in administration, logistics support or similar roles is desirable

Working Pattern:

  • 37.5 hours per week covering shifts between 7:00am and 5:30pm (rotated within the team)
  • 4 days in the office, 1 day working from home (typically Friday, with some flexibility)
