Location: Bedford

Salary: £28,305 per year + Shift Premium £1,939.60

Shifts: Rotating Day Shifts – 4 on, 4 off (6am to 6pm)

Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent

Are you a proactive and detail-oriented professional with a valid FLT licence? Join our Bedford based client’s team as a Warehouse Assistant and play a key role in ensuring smooth operations and excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Stock Handling: Picking, stacking, and securing stock to meet company and client standards.
• Warehouse Operations: Ensuring all goods are received, despatched, and stored efficiently and safely.
• Safety and Maintenance: Maintaining a clean, secure, and organised workspace, adhering to all Health & Safety regulations.
• Team Contribution: Collaborating with colleagues to continuously improve warehouse operations and achieve shared goals.

Requirements:

• Valid Counterbalance Fork Truck Licence.
• Educated to GCSE level or equivalent.
• Experience in a fast-changing warehouse environment.
• Knowledge of WMS, barcoding, and RDT systems.
• Strong communication, attention to detail, and organisational skills.
• Computer literacy, including Microsoft Office.
• A flexible, reliable, and proactive approach.
• A commitment to safety and following company procedures.
• The ability to work accurately and efficiently within tight timeframes.
