Technical Content Writer
Location: Wokingham/Remote
Salary: £35,000 – £35,000 Per annum
About the Role
As a Technical Content Writer, you will support with the delivery of written content across the Group with a focus on supporting our North American office. Your role will involve ensuring consistent and accurate content across all Group communications, websites and literature. You will work closely with our existing Technical Content Writer and the Group Marketing Manager to create and execute a communications plan for each business, working with our external creative agency to bring these plans to life.
About You
We are looking for a highly organised, proactive individual with experience writing technical content using both British English and American English, within the manufacturing/engineering industry. You will be a confident communicator with strong interpersonal skills to gather, understand and explain technical information.
- Demonstrable experience as a technical writer creating content for B2B brands
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Impeccable spelling and grammar
- Ability to prioritise workload independently, with strong organisational and planning abilities
- Thorough in approach, diligent, with keen attention to detail
- Confident communicator with strong interpersonal skills
- Flexible, calm under pressure and takes ownership
Literacy in MS Excel, Word and Power-point
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for the creation of all written content across channels, for different business areas
- Monitor and manage written content across Group websites, literature and other assets to ensure consistent and accurate information
- Liaise with Sales, Technical and Production teams to create technically accurate content
- Planning and writing blog posts which discuss the latest trends in the security industry, whilst also promoting particular products
- Working closely with other members of the Marketing Team to ensure that tone of voice is consistent and on brand
